Shepley Health Centre Online
Our online consultation and advice service is hosted by PATCHS.
This is a way to contact the surgery to get advice or to request services. It replaces the eCONSULT serivce.
To use the service you need to create a Patchs account. You only need to do this the first time you use the service. Once you have, you will find the service quick and easy to use. Having an account will enable us to respond to your requests in a more secure way.
From 1 October 2025, NHS rules require GP practices to keep their online consultation system (e.g. PATCHS) open during core hours (8am–6:30pm, Monday–Friday) so patients can submit non-urgent appointment requests, medication queries, or admin requests.
Please note: Submitting a request online does not automatically book you an appointment.
When you submit a request via PATCHS:- Your request will be reviewed (triaged) by our team.
- We will decide the most appropriate next step for you — this may be:
- a same-day or routine appointment (face-to-face or telephone),
- advice or treatment without needing an appointment,
- referral to another service (e.g. pharmacy, NHS 111), or
- guidance on self-care.
- As required by the NHS GP Patient Charter, we will tell you within one working day what will happen next.
Important notice - Not for urgent medical requests
Please do not use this service for urgent or emergency medical issues.
If you require immediate medical attention, please take one of the following steps:- Call the practice directly
- Contact NHS 111 (Out of Hours Service)
- For emergencies, go to A&E or dial 999
This service is not monitored for urgent or clinical emergencies.
We aim to respond to routine queries by the end of the next working day.
Please note: Clinical queries submitted after 4:00 PM will not be reviewed until the next working day.
Thank you for your understanding.
What do you want to contact the practice about?
Please make the request in the name of the actual patient (e.g. not ask about a child using the parent's name)
Examples of thing you might request by clicking the something else button:
- Getting some advice
- Send us a photo of a rash or skin lesion
- Request a prescription or treatment
- To ask for a test (e.g. a blood test)
- To request a sick note, a letter or a test result
- Some other service (where it is not necessary to speak to or be seen by someone at the practice in person)
